In 2014, Louisville was fresh off the failed ONEX bat. Enter LXT, and they have not looked back. That is why Louisville has decided to pump it again this year. The LXT is a three-piece bat. The Xeno, which is a two-piece bat, will be Louisville's other high-end composite bat. These two bats will be different in the regard that the LXT will have more flex to it. This means the barrel will actually whip back and then forward. Girls have also noted the LXT swings lighter because of the design. Louisville has improved the LXT in regards to the connection piece, making sure durability will be a non-issue this year. This model is the -8. This is as extreme as it gets. The -8 is for the girl that flat out crushes the ball. If one can handle this bat performance, the hitting will be off the charts. This model will only come in two sizes -- 33/25 and 34/26. In the video above, one will see the inside of the older LXT; notice the two-metal disc surrounding the foam. In the 2017 and 2018 bats, there will only be one metal disc. This allows for a player to really get some good feedback when they hit the ball.

All bats in ASA Championship Play must pass the ASA 2004 bat standard. All bats having the 2004 certification mark will be allowed in ASA Championship Play. Bats that have the 2000 certification mark will not be allowed in ASA Championship Play unless they are listed on an approved bat list on the ASA website.
USSSA has used a 1.20 BPF standard in its softball programs for 15 years. The BPF standard was developed by NYU Physics Professor Dr. Richard A. Brandt over 15 years ago. The BPF standard is based on fundamental laws of physics that allow Dr. Brandt's testing lab to measure the relative performance of bats to be used in USSSA play.
At Closeout Bats we stock what we sell! We have a huge warehouse and are NOT drop shipping bats like many web sites. We update inventory and availability on the Web site several times a day as inventory positions change shipping hundreds and hundeds of bats. We also sell bats out of our physical store, so sometimes things sell out before we can get them off the Web site.
Limited quantities available. Prices subject to change without notice. Like we say, if it's on the site, it's in the warehouse -- just SOMETIMES it might have some other player's name on it! If you snooze, you lose, so ORDER YOURS NOW!
