The CAT9 is a precision-balanced, one-piece alloy design with a medium M.O.I. For athletes who favor a mid-balanced metal bat, the CAT9 is the right choice. Both power hitters and contact hitters will enjoy the feel and performance of the CAT9.

Designed with a thermally treated AZR alloy for a more responsive and forgiving feel, the balanced one-piece CAT9 features a massive sweet spot that is ready to damage right out of the wrapper. No break-in necessary.

  • Utilizing a three-stage thermal treatment process, Marucci's new AZR alloy offers a more responsive microstructure for better feel, more forgiveness and more performance while maintaining the same strength as its predecessor

  • Multi-variable wall design creates an expanded sweet spot and thinner barrel walls that are more forgiving after off-centered contact
  • 2nd Generation AV2 Anti-Vibration knob features an upgraded, finely tuned harmonic dampening system for better feel and less negative vibrational feedback

    The BBCOR formula provides a better measure of the bat's performance and therefore allows the rules committee and bat testing laboratories to better predict field performance based on lab tests. The goal is that non-wood bats that meet this new standard will perform similarly to wood bats. All BBCOR bats will incorporate a logo mark once certification approval is granted. This mark will be consistent across every approved bat design so umpires will easily identify approved bats.
