ASA 2004 Certified Softball Bat
All bats in ASA Championship Play must pass the ASA 2004 bat standard. All bats having the 2004 certification mark will be allowed in ASA Championship Play. Bats that have the 2000 certification mark will not be allowed in ASA Championship Play unless they are listed on an approved bat list on the ASA website.

| | ASA 2013 Certified Slowpitch Bat
There will be a new Certification Mark to be used on future bat models manufactured for the game of Slow Pitch for 2013 and beyond. The current 2000 and 2004 Certification Marks will continue to be valid Marks for the existing Slow Pitch bats.
Any new models produced by the manufacturers will display the new Certification Mark for bats used in the game of Slow Pitch Softball for ASA.

| | BBCOR Certified Baseball Bat
The BBCOR formula provides a better measure of the bat's performance and therefore allows the rules committee and bat testing laboratories to better predict field performance based on lab tests. The goal is that non-wood bats that meet this new standard will perform similarly to wood bats. All BBCOR bats will incorporate a logo mark once certification approval is granted. This mark will be consistent across every approved bat design so umpires will easily identify approved bats.

DeMarini Half - Half
The revolutionary two-piece hitting system introduced by DeMarini that silences feedback on off-center hits and creates the largest, most responsive sweet spot by flexing before impact and recoiling with a burst of ball-launching energy.

| | DeMarini Paradox Composite Barrel
How does something stronger perform softer? How does something stiffer become more responsive? That's the paradox that defines our new composite. The Paradox Composite is a stiffer, stronger material that we are able to shape into hotter, more responsive bats that require less break-in time.

| | Easton Mother Load
Concave pre-loaded end cap for maximum end load and increased power.

Easton XXL Barrel
Extra long aluminum barrel designs for massive sweet spots and expanded hitting zones.

| | SSUSA Softball Certified Slowpitch Bat
Slowpitch Senior Softball leagues like SSUSA use a 1.21 Bat Performance Factor, which is simply the increase in the liveliness of a ball hitting a bat compared to throwing the ball against a solid wall. Approved bats must have the SSUSA/NTS logo or have a BPF of 1.21 or less.

USSSA Certified Softball Bat
USSSA has used a 1.20 BPF standard in its softball programs for 15 years. The BPF standard was developed by NYU Physics Professor Dr. Richard A. Brandt over 15 years ago. The BPF standard is based on fundamental laws of physics that allow Dr. Brandt's testing lab to measure the relative performance of bats to be used in USSSA play.
