A new era in fastpitch starts now. It’s not just a bat, it’s your edge. With patent-pending Gap Sync barrel technology and industry-leading EVolve composite construction, the ASURA is optimized for every length and drop weight to ensure maximum performance, no matter your size or skill level. With no break in required, this bat is built for the spotlight.
Features:
2-piece composite
2-1/4" barrel
Mid-loaded barrel -- slight end-load, medium M.O.I. barrel designed for effortless power without sacrificing swing speed.
Gap Sync Barrel Technology -- the largest progressive gap design in the industry maximizes inner barrel displacement, enhancing performance and optimizing feel across all bat lengths, drops and weights.
EVolve Composite Technology -- composite structure with progressively increasing fiber angle to maximize performance and barrel responsiveness. Utilizing a prevailing shell, but custom fitted inner walls, gaps, fiber angles, weighting and handle allows for a tailored bat
for athletes of all ages and swing speed.
PFX Composite Handle engineered specifically by weight drop adjusting flex characteristics to enhance swing speed, power, and feel.
OLS Connection -- patented, one-of-a-kind design connects the barrel to the handle from the outside in, creating the stiffest connection
available, while dismissing virtually all vibrations on contact for the strongest, smoothest swing yet.
New TFX Endcap is a softer endcap allowing the barrel to flex more towards the end of the bat for increased forgiveness.
Updated Knob Design for improve feel and comfort.

USA Softball has begun transitioning to the new USA Softball Certification Marks for the 2020 calendar year. On behalf of equipment manufacturers, the USA Softball Equipment Testing and Certification Committee requested that the new certification marks be approved for the 2019 calendar year and the USA Softball Board of Directors approved the new marks (seen here) for 2019 USA Softball Championship Play.
USSSA has used a 1.20 BPF standard in its softball programs for 15 years. The BPF standard was developed by NYU Physics Professor Dr. Richard A. Brandt over 15 years ago. The BPF standard is based on fundamental laws of physics that allow Dr. Brandt's testing lab to measure the relative performance of bats to be used in USSSA play.
At Closeout Bats we stock what we sell! We have a huge warehouse and are NOT drop shipping bats like many web sites. We update inventory and availability on the Web site several times a day as inventory positions change shipping hundreds and hundeds of bats. We also sell bats out of our physical store, so sometimes things sell out before we can get them off the Web site.
Limited quantities available. Prices subject to change without notice. Like we say, if it's on the site, it's in the warehouse -- just SOMETIMES it might have some other player's name on it! If you snooze, you lose, so ORDER YOURS NOW!
