About Mizuno Mizuno Corporation has a long history dating back to 1906 when it was founded by Rihachi Mizuno in Osaka, Japan, as Mizuno Brothers Ltd., selling Western products including baseballs. With head offices in Osaka and Tokyo, Mizuno also has numerous subsidiaries in Europe and the United States. Mizuno has been best known for its golf clubs, running shoes, and baseball gear. Mizuno patented an injection-molded, compressed plastic bat in 1957, and was the maker of the industry's first rubber baseball bat using polyurethane on its surface. Rihachi was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971. Baseball glove maker Tsubota and bat maker Isokazu Kubota received "Contemporary Master Craftsmen" awards in 1998 and 2003, respectively. Mizuno signed a multi-year partnership with the Atlanta Braves in 2016 and globally launched their brand slogan of "REACH BEYOND" in 2018.
At Closeout Bats, we stock what we sell! We have a huge warehouse and are NOT drop shipping bats like many websites. We update inventory and availability on the website several times a day as inventory positions change, shipping hundreds and hundreds of bats. We also sell bats out of our physical store, so sometimes things sell out before we can get them off the website. Limited quantities available. Prices subject to change without notice. Like we say, if it's on the site, it's in the warehouse -- just SOMETIMES it might have some other player's name on it! If you snooze, you lose, so ORDER YOURS NOW!
