Wilson A2000 Series D25 Tropical 12.5" Pitchers Glove (2025)
Recommended age range: 14 and up
ROY'S RATING: 4 stars
Optimized for athletic pitchers to field their position off the mound, the Winter 2025 A2000 D25 checks in at 12.25” with a Closed Pro Laced Web to hide pitch grips or catch comebackers. Gap welting – a piece of the Tropical Blue Pro Stock leather palm folded between the index and middle fingers – stabilizes the glove’s deep pocket to help players find their next pitch. Whether dealing on Friday nights or coming out hot from the bullpen, pitchers can trust the A2000 D25 to keep their cool.

Pro Stock Leather is preferred for its rugged durability and unmatched feel.
SuperSkin is a microfiber material that’s half the weight of Pro Stock Leather, but twice as durable. Its moisture-resistant design extends the longevity of the glove, and is easier to clean than traditional leather.
Spin Control Technology -- a dimpled pattern in the Pro Stock Leather in the palm and web of your A2000 helps reduce the spin rate of the ball by rapidly increasing friction at the moment of contact between ball and glove.
Comfort Pro Fit featuring Wilson's ProLux Leather, the liner of the redesigned A2000 has a richer, softer feel against your hand. The all-new Comfort Sleeve is the finishing touch, concealing the binding in the wrist for more comfort than ever before.
Rolled Dual Welting in Wilson gloves goes beyond a mere cosmetic effect, as it’s integrated into the liner of each infield, outfield and pitcher's model, offering better support and helping your glove hold its shape better over time.
Rolled binding
DriLex Wrist Lining keeps your hand dry and comfortable.
Bold logos strip away the distractions, allowing outlined, eye-catching Wilson logos

Mad Max's GLOVE BREAK-IN SERVICE
This is truly a game-changer. Here at CloseoutBats we understand the real value of a glove and want to help you protect your investment.
That's why our family-owned and operated company will take the time to individually break in each and every glove we sell by hand for only $60 extra per glove! This means no-nonsense or shenanigans when it comes to breaking in your glove -- we promise not to steam your glove because it's not a lobster!
Please note that if you add Mad Max's Break-In Service, you will need to allow up to 5 additional days to process and ship your order. Break-in fee is non-refundable.
Our trained professionals will then break in your new glove using only their bare hands and a mallet. You can trust that we will NEVER use machines, steam, creams, water treatments, or oils that can make your glove feel heavy.
We will turn your glove inside out to help stretch the leather and prepare it for further breaking-in.
The result of taking the time to pound out and hand manipulate the leather is a game-ready feel on day one. The action of repeatedly hitting the glove at the correct break points will help soften the material and start to give it shape.
When we are done shaping your glove, we know you will be pleased. QUESTIONS? Give Max and Roy a call!
At Closeout Bats, we stock what we sell! We have a huge warehouse and are NOT drop shipping bats like many websites. We update inventory and availability on the website several times a day as inventory positions change, shipping hundreds and hundreds of bats. We also sell bats out of our physical store, so sometimes things sell out before we can get them off the website.
Limited quantities available. Prices subject to change without notice. Like we say, if it's on the site, it's in the warehouse -- just SOMETIMES it might have some other player's name on it! If you snooze, you lose, so ORDER YOURS NOW!
