About DeMariniDeMarini was founded in 1989 by Ray DeMarini with "Insane Dedication to Performance" as its motto. The company has enjoyed great success since introducing the world’s first double-wall bat in 1993, and it went on to deliver a series of other industry firsts including the first high-performance youth bat and the first high-performance bat for massive players. DeMarini joined Wilson Sporting Goods in 2001 and kept its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Hillsboro, Oregon.Known for producing baseball and softball bats with innovations that provide enhanced hitting power, DeMarini made the first two-piece bat in 2002 with Half + Half Technology, combining a composite carbon handle with a DoubleWall alloy barrel. It also produced the first Gapped Divergence technology bat in slowpitch softball with the Flipper in 2013.The company continued to make strides in 2004 as Arizona State University became the first college program to use the DeMarini bat. Then, in 2006, Oregon State won the College World Series exclusively using DeMarini bats.  At Closeout Bats we stock what we sell! We have a huge warehouse and are NOT drop shipping bats like many web sites. We update inventory and availability on the Web site several times a day as inventory positions change shipping hundreds and hundeds of bats. We also sell bats out of our physical store, so sometimes things sell out before we can get them off the Web site.
