Fastpitch bats are used by female players at the youth level to the collegiate level. They are used in USA, ASA, USSSA, ISA, NSA, and WSBC (ISF) and have a length-to-weight ratio from -8oz to -13oz.
-8oz and -9oz are for the stronger high school or college player
-10oz is the most popular length-to-weight ratio used by most high school players
-11oz is a lightweight bat with same technology as -10oz
-12oz is the most popular among girls, ages 13 and under, for bat speed to create power
-13oz is the lightest bat and for younger girls or anyone who needs bat speed

Went to visit the store with my 7th grade daughter to tryout new catchers gear. Everyone there was very helpful and knowledgeable. There was a great selection to try. I also recently ordered a new glove from the website with the break in service. Delivery was fast and the break in was perfect.
