The 2027 A2K 1724 is an 11.75” glove for infielders who prefer to play with two fingers in the pinky stall. Handmade in Japan by expert craftsmen, each A2K is the product of decades of experience poured into hours of labor spent assembling, shaping and perfecting. Exclusive Double Palm Construction implements an additional layer of leather that maintains a smooth palm and ideal pocket shape during the break-in process and throughout the life of the glove by enhancing pocket stability.
A pattern that continues growing in popularity, the 1724 was designed to accommodate infielders who play with two fingers in the pinky stall. Altered finger stalls and a modified wrist opening give players more leverage at the ends of the hand, helping to funnel the ball firmly into the pocket and snap the glove shut. The 11.75” H-Web build gives players extra reach for shutting down the holes while staying nimble enough to react to hard hit balls and challenging hops. Our trademark Dual Welting™ helps maintain ideal shape throughout the life of the glove.
The A2K is made with Pro Stock Select leather, which represents just the top 5% of Wilson leather hides. We finely inspect every hide, with only the softest, most flawless pieces making the cut to be used for our most premium glove line. A classic pairing of Blonde and Black Pro Stock Select leather gets a major splash of color courtesy of Seafoam laces and stitching plus Flamingo Pink logos and trim for an ultra-fresh look.

Pro Stock Select leather hides are triple-sorted, a fine inspection process reviewing the leather at least three times to identify the top 5% for ideal qualities of softness, stretch and durability.
Double Palm Construction expert craftsmen insert an extra layer of thin leather between the palm shell and liner, extending along the palm and fingers to enhance pocket stability, form the glove during the break-in process and maintain its shape through frequent use.
Comfort Pro Fit featuring our ProLux Leather, the liner of the redesigned A2000 has a richer, softer feel against your hand. The all-new Comfort Sleeve is the finishing touch, concealing the binding in the wrist for more comfort than ever before.
Rolled Dual Welting dual welting in Wilson gloves goes beyond a mere cosmetic effect, as it’s integrated into the liner of each infield, outfield and pitcher's model, offering better support and helping your glove hold its shape better over time.
Modified Wrist Strap shaped to bend toward the player's hand near the pinky, creating a snug fit without feeling too tight.
Modified Finger Divider reduced divider between index and middle finger stalls, allowing players to comfortably shift two fingers to the pinky stall. When worn with the index finger outside the glove, the finger divider acts like a pad to improve comfort.

Our trained professionals will then break in your new glove using only their bare hands and a mallet. You can trust that we will NEVER use machines, steam, water treatments, or oils that can make your glove feel heavy.
We will turn your glove inside out to help stretch the leather and prepare it for further breaking-in.
The result of taking the time to pound out and hand manipulate the leather is a game-ready feel on day one. The action of repeatedly hitting the glove at the correct break points will help soften the material and start to give it shape.
